Ask Max: Tri-State Fundamentals
Max Maxfield 5/7/2013 7 comments I believe that if you know how the hardware implementation actually works, then it greatly eases the task of understanding "life, the universe, and everything."
Where's Waldo (Max) at Design West?
Max Maxfield 4/22/2013 34 comments I tell you – I don't know whether I'm coming or going at the moment – the Design West 2013 Conference and Exhibition is almost upon us -- and I for one will be a busy little bee.
Woodstock Meets CapNet at Design West
Max Maxfield 3/27/2013 18 comments I bet you are thinking there's no way I can link the original Woodstock Festival from 1969 with our wireless mesh networked propeller beanies in 2013. Well, stand back and give me some room...
What Do You Know About PCBs?
Max Maxfield 2/14/2013 28 comments It would be wonderful for us to have a PCB layout expert as a blogger here on AP) – someone who could keep us all abreast of the latest developments in the circuit board world, and also answer any questions we may have when creating our next masterpiece.

Max Maxfield 2/7/2013 22 comments Imagine the scene in the dim and distant future where a group of grizzled old designers are sharing tales of derring-do... and one designer says in hushed tones "Well, I was at Design West 2013 when CapNet was first unveiled!"
Help Design the APP Membership Card
Max Maxfield 1/31/2013 109 comments I've decided to create an All Programmable Planet (APP) membership card. When I'm done, I'll be happy to send one to each and every member of APP, but first I need some help with the style and wording.
Wireless Mesh Networked Propeller Beanie Hats!
Max Maxfield 1/29/2013 47 comments Each of the propeller beanies is equipped with an embedded wireless module. These wireless modules are constantly bouncing signals back and forth, thereby allowing them to keep track of one another's locations.

Can statistical or heuristic verification really work for FPGA designs?
One of the things I've been wondering is whether or not the "okWireOR" module is really just a giant OR, or if the order in which things are attached matters.
I am shocked and horrified. It appears that those little scamps at Planet Analog are writing blogs pertaining to field-programmable issues.
This week's live online chat takes place on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. ET.
