Duane, I suggest you to have some videos clippings also (if possible), so that everybody can have a real look about your robot and its components.

@Duane: Make sure you take pictures of everything to document your progress -- you can start just with the pile of boxes and then show them opened up with the motors etc. on the table.

That way (a) you can send me some pics for my slideshow and (b) in the future we'll be able to document the creation of your Robot Avatar "From Soup to Nuts" (or perhaps "From Nuts to Making Soup" in your case).

Making progress
That'll be a good subject. I receved another box of mechanical raw materials for my robot avatar today. That makes motors, belts and pulleys, axels and a platform to put them on all in house with motor driver PCBs on order. Now all I need to do is speed up my FPGA training.
